About the role The sub‑level cave at Northparkes has a solid 10‑year mine life, including five years of development mining, with an additional decade of future projects expected. This role provides a stable, growth‑oriented career. Reporting to the Underground Mining Supervisor, the focus is on charge‑up duties to maintain underground development and production operations. Responsibilities
- Charge up development and production headings.
- Handle, transport, and store explosives safely and efficiently.
- Adhere to site blasting and evacuation procedures consistently.
- Prepare blast holes to minimise misfires and optimise blast performance.
- Maintain safety as a priority for self and crew.

- Based in Parkes or willing to relocate.
- Minimum 12 months experience in a similar underground role.
- Blasting Explosives User Licence.
- Working at Heights ticket.
- Security clearance to handle explosives.
- Safety‑focused mindset.
