Forklift Operator - Warehouse Dispatch (Parkes Shire Council)

Every morning off? ✔️ Monday to Friday only? ✔️ Home every night? ✔️ This permanent role in Warehouse operations in the Parkes region works Monday to Friday, 12pm to 8:30pm. The company is stable and growing with a current facility close to Parkes. Position includes job security, regular overtime, shift allowances and a role with plenty of variety in a small team. Sadly ????, this great role is not suitable for somebody who has just received their forklift ticket. You must hold a current ticket and have sound experience with forklift operations, including loading and unloading trucks. About the job

You will mainly be responsible for assisting with the receipting of incoming materials, assembly and co-ordination of stock for the distribution of orders.
- Working in a small team to ensure all orders are fulfilled accurately and deadlines are met on a daily basis
- receiving and processing incoming stock and materials,
- picking and filling orders from stock,
- packing and shipping orders,
- retrieving stock in the warehouse. About you
- Year 12 education or relevant work experience. The role requires this standard of reading and maths skills
- Current forklift licence and experience operating a forklift is essential.
- Sound computer and data entry skills
- Some experience and knowledge of inventory and warehouse operations is desirable
