SVAGO is a up-to-date Italian restaurant inspired by recipes passed down through generations — memories of making pasta, biscuits, and pizza with Nonna. Our approach is simple and honest, grounded in an artisan philosophy: handmade food, fresh ingredients, and letting quality speak for itself.
As our business continues to grow, we’re expanding into breakfast service alongside mobile events and private functions, while continuing to deliver memorable evening dining experiences in our restaurant.
The Role
We’re looking for a friendly, energetic Barista / FOH All-Rounder to join our front-of-house team. This role suits someone who loves hospitality, enjoys connecting with people, and takes pride in delivering great coffee and service.
You’ll be confident behind the bar, comfortable on the floor, and happy to jump in wherever needed to keep service running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
Preparing high-quality coffee and beverages
Taking orders and serving customers with a warm, welcoming attitude
Handling POS and cash transactions confidently
Assisting with simple food preparation, cakes, and cabinet items
Maintaining cleanliness and presentation of the bar and FOH areas
Restocking and supporting daily operations
Supporting the team during busy service period
What We’re Looking For
Barista or café experience preferred (but a great attitude is essential)
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, customer-focused workplace
Strong communication and customer service skills
A positive team player who’s happy to help wherever needed
Reliable, organised, and proactive
Flexible availability across weekdays and weekends
