Mc Truck Driver/ General Labourer Arundel

GCMarine, an innovated Marine Berthing Manufacturing company based at Arundel on the Gold Coast, is currently seeking an experienced and reliable MC Truck Driver to join our team with an immediate start. This role involves mainly local SEQ driving to pick up goods and deliver pontoons etc, however there is some over night work and instate work required from time-to-time. You will be operating various vehicles in our fleet to include our flat bed truck, semi-trailer,= and tippers as well as doing odd labouring jobs when needed.

We offer a 4-day 38 hour working week, 6:00am to 4:00pm Monday to Thursday with the opportunity to work the Friday for overtime, subject to operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities: Safely operate flat bed, semi-trailer, and tipper trucks Complete local and interstate deliveries efficiently and on schedule Load and secure freight correctly, ensuring compliance with safety regulations Conduct pre-start checks and basic vehicle maintenance Maintain accurate delivery and logbook records Represent the company in a professional manner at all times Ability to do general maintenance on these vehicles when required

Requirements: Valid MC licence Proven experience driving flat beds, semi-trailers, and/or tippers
- must have 2 yrs Robust understanding of road safety and fatigue management regulations Ability to secure loads correctly (chains, straps, tarps as required) Positive communication skills and a reliable work ethic Clean driving record preferred Experience working with hand tools is a necessity

NOTE: This position is not a full time driving role. Yes, you will predominately be driving our trucks but there will be days when you will be required to do general labouring work. This may include assisting in the building and installation of pontoons, jetties and marine structures, concrete work to include steel fixing (not finishing) and any other general labouring work required within our business.
