TRUCK/HEAVY VEHICLE MECHANICS / FITTERS
- BDSA GOLD COAST BDS Mechanical is currently seeking qualified Truck/Diesel Mechanics and Fitters to join our team in Arundel in full-time, permanent positions. The successful candidates will possess the following:
- Relevant trade qualification
- Diagnostic experience
- Strong fault-finding skills
- Experience with trucks and trailers
- Heavy earthmoving experience (advantageous)
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Truck licence (preferred)
- Additional skills, experience, tickets, and licences will be highly regarded Your duties will include:
- Diesel engine diagnostics & repair, major and minor rebuilds
- General Repairs/maintenance works – Trucks & Trailers/4×4’s
- Replacing vehicle engines, steering mechanisms, transmissions and braking systems
- Checking vehicle lighting systems
- Test driving vehicles to gauge performance
- Maintaining detailed records of serviced vehicles
- Adhering to an inspection procedure checklist What we can offer:
