Due to continued business growth, we are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Motor Mechanic to join our team on a full time basis.

Salary

$79,500 per annum plus Superannuation

About the Role The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out vehicle diagnostics, mechanical repairs, servicing, and maintenance on a range of motor vehicles while ensuring all work is completed efficiently and to a high standard.

Skills and Experience Required To be considered for this role, applicants must have: Trade qualification in Automotive Technology Diploma qualification will be highly regarded Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a Motor Mechanic in an Australian workshop setting Solid diagnostic and fault-finding skills Ability to work independently and within a team Good communication and organisational skills Strong commitment to workplace health and safety practices

Key Duties and Responsibilities The successful applicant will be responsible for:

Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults in engines and vehicle systems Carrying out repairs and replacement of worn or defective parts and components Performing scheduled servicing and preventative vehicle maintenance Testing and adjusting repaired systems to ensure safety and proper performance Tuning engines using diagnostic and electronic testing equipment Repairing and maintaining vehicle electrical systems including ignition, lighting, and fuel injection systems Reassembling engines and mechanical components following repair work Attending breakdown and repair service requirements when required Maintaining accurate records of servicing and repair work completed Ensuring workshop cleanliness and compliance with workplace safety standards
