Motor Mechanic Arundel

We are looking for a full time Motor Mechanic to inspect, service and perform repairs on all makes and models of motorhomes and caravans at our busy Gold Coast workshop. This is a hands-on role where your mechanical expertise ensures our customers' safety, is your number one priority.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS Detect and diagnose mechanical and electrical faults Undertake axle services, replace and repair bearings, brakes, suspension, hubs and wheels Repair and replace worn and defective parts, reassemble mechanical components, and refer to logbooks and service manuals as needed. Fitting and balancing tyres, conducting wheel alignments, and checking for tread and pressure-related issues. Keep accurate service records, follow workshop procedures, and comply with safety and environmental rules. Test and adjust mechanical parts after repair for proper performance and safety

SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

We are looking for mechanics with A robust safety-focus and attention to detail Certificate III or higher in Automotive Mechanical Technology or a relevant qualification. At least 1 year of experience working in a similar setting. Robust diagnostic and problem-solving skills Familiarity with modern tools, computerised diagnostic equipment, and workshop systems. Ability to work autonomously and demonstrate good judgement A forklift license is desirable but not essential Australian drivers license

Remuneration will reflect experience and will be discussed with the successful applicant.
