Churning gelato in store, using secret traditional Calabrian family recipes, word of mouth spread and before long, there were queues out the door and recent store openings followed. In our 24th year in business, we operate both nationally and internationally with ambitious growth plans for many more locations across the globe. Reporting to the Senior Retail Operations Consultant, our Retail Operations Consultants are responsible for: Driving regional sales, profit, and customer experience through strong people leadership, planning, and operational standards Partnering with and coaching franchisees and store managers to improve financial performance, customer outcomes, and compliance Analysing financial and operational reports to identify risks, opportunities, and targeted improvement actions Developing, implementing, and monitoring regional and store-specific business plans and budgets Managing regional sales, gross profit, and expenditure to achieve company financial targets Using data and reporting (e.g. wages, COGS, profitability) as a coaching and performance improvement tool Conducting regular store visits to review standards, providing feedback, and supporting operational excellence Maintaining expert knowledge of Shift8 POS and back-office reporting to support stores as required Building trusted, skilled relationships with franchisees, suppliers, and partners, representing the Gelatissimo brand Monitoring compliance, follow up on corrective actions, escalate issues where required, and support franchisee exits when necessary What's in it for you?
