We are currently seeking passionate and experienced Trainer and Assessors to deliver and assess Hospitality and Kitchen Management qualifications. About the role The Trainer and Assessor is responsible for delivering and assessing high-quality training and assessment services in accordance with the Standards for RTOs, relevant Training Packages, and organisational policies and procedures. This role plays an important part in supporting student success, maintaining compliance standards, and contributing to continuous improvement across the college. Key responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and industry-relevant training and assessment sessions in Hospitality and Kitchen Management
- Prepare and review training and assessment materials to ensure compliance with training package and RTO requirements
- Assess student work and provide timely, constructive feedback in accordance with assessment standards and organisational policies
- Maintain accurate student attendance, assessment, and training records
- Support students through inclusive learning practices and identify students requiring additional academic support
- Participate in validation, compliance, continuous improvement, and audit activities as required
- Maintain current industry knowledge, vocational competency, and career development
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute positively to the college’s professional and supportive learning environment Essential Requirements
- TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent)
- Relevant vocational qualifications in Hospitality and/or Commercial Cookery/Kitchen Management
- Demonstrated industry experience in hospitality operations or commercial kitchens
- Sound knowledge of the VET sector and Standards for RTOs
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to engage and motivate students from diverse backgrounds
- Current industry skills and vocational competency Desirable
- Experience delivering training to international students
- Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS)
- Validation and compliance experience within an RTO environment What We Offer
