It is our mission to contribute to the lives of our customers, employees, suppliers and the communities we serve in a cooperative and sustainable manner. **Job Summary**: From within the warehouse environment, the Warehouse Operator supports all warehouse operations with a primary focus on picking, processing and arranging shipments for customer orders along with receiving products from local and international suppliers and moving products between and within the warehouse locations. Other duties include support for inventory cycle counts, maintaining a clean and safe warehouse environment, loading and unloading trucks and containers and supporting material handling for the Packaging lines. **Responsibilities**: **Responsible for Power Equipment Operation**:

- Follow safety procedures while operating forklifts
- Daily power equipment inspection
- Take care of forklift battery maintenance
- Provide a secure workplace for other workers

Responsible for the efficient and timely performance of warehouse functions:

- Coordinate printed picking slips for new customer orders.
- Pick orders in accordance with product pallet layouts and other customer requirements, accurately recording and transacting product, quantity, lot details.
- Accurately record and transact pallet pooling transfers and receipts (e.g. CHEP)
- Arrange delivery bookings in line with customer freight carrier requirements and liaise with all parties in relation to the timely delivery or collection of customer orders.
- Staging all required components to the packaging lines
- Verify and return all components from packaging lines
- Notify lead-hand when any discrepancies occur
- Ensure that log sheets are accurately recorded
- Ensure that staging and returning areas are organized
- Perform cycle count of finished goods, bulk products and packaging components inventory
- Support warehouse and production personnel as needed
- Ensure that the warehouse is clean, secure, and well maintained
- Follow and adhere to all given instructions including work procedures, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP)
- Strictly adhere to and observe all safety policies as outlined in the company policies and training sessions
- Valuable record keeping of all receiving related documents (Packing slips, shipping documents, lot traceability sheets etc.)
- Confirm all the received items are entered correctly in the system and logged accurately within the warehouse management system.
- Organize and maintain all warehouse bays, clearing empty skids, removing waste and recycling and putting away/transferring goods within the warehouse as needed.
- Transfer/update all bin locations accurately in real time for stock movement within the warehouse.
- Other duties as assigned for which you have the skills and capability to perform

**Requirements**: Technical
- Forklift certified
- Knowledge of Syspro, Microsoft Office and SharePoint is an asset
- Knowledge of inventory, warehouse and packaging components procedures
- Accuracy in verifying counts and logging
- Any warehouse operations certifications will be nice-to-have
