Trainer & Assessor - Diploma of Hospitality (Parramatta)

**About the role**

We are looking to recruit a qualified trainer and assessor to be a part of our Academic Team for the following qualification.
- _**Diploma of Hospitality Management (SIT50422)**_

As a trainer and assessor, you will be delivering and assessing the units as per the VET Quality Framework.

**Tasks & responsibilities**
- Design, deliver, and assess units of competency that sets a high standard as per organisation policy and procedure.
- Familiarise and contribute to reviewing of training and assessment strategy for the qualification that is being delivered.
- Mentor and support students in their academic activities.
- Participate in industry consultation, moderation, staff and validation meetings.
- Maintain currency in relevant fields as per ASQA requirements.

**Qualifications & experience**
- Applicants must have experience in training and assessment and should hold current industry skills and comprehension.
- Should hold Certificate IV in training and assessment (TAE40116) or relevant degree.
- Should have industry experience and relevant qualifications.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication skills and ability to work without direct supervision.
- Should be maintaining current Professional Development (PD).

Pay: $45.00
- $55.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Parramatta, NSW: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Teaching: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driver Licence (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)
