Construction Labourer (Parramatta)

We are a dynamic construction firm seeking dedicated Construction Laborers to join our team. As a Construction Labourer, you will play a vital role in operating and maintaining construction equipment, assisting skilled tradesmen, and ensuring the smooth progress of construction projects. We are looking for individuals who are physically fit, reliable, and committed to delivering high-quality work.

**Key Responsibilities**: Operate and maintain construction equipment and machinery.

Assist equipment operators, carpenters, and other skilled labour as needed.

Prepare construction sites by clearing obstacles and hazards.

Load and unload construction materials safely and efficiently.

Assemble and dismantle temporary structures like scaffolding.

Excavate, backfill, or compact earth as required.

Follow instructions from supervisors and adhere to safety protocols.

Support craft workers in various tasks.

Willingness to learn through on-the-job training.

Perform site clean-up to maintain a safe working environment.

**Requirements**: Recognised Trade Certificate

Valid driver's license.

Work safely and comply with all site policies

Ability to perform physical Labour and strenuous tasks.

Punctuality and reliability are essential traits.

Previous experience as a general labourer in the construction industry

**Job Types**: Full time, Subcontract

Pay: From $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38 per week

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay
