Social Media Content Creator (Rydalmere)

Junior Social Media and Content Coordinator | Sydney Smart Talent Group is recruiting for a junior but capable Social Media and Content Coordinator to join a fast-moving creative events and experiential business. This is not a role for someone who only wants to schedule posts. We are looking for someone creative, organised and hands-on. Someone who understands social media, knows what makes content engaging and is excited to capture the energy of real events, brand activations and behind-the-scenes project work. You will help bring a highly visual brand to life across LinkedIn, Instagram, short-form video and digital content. The role will involve:
- Creating and scheduling social media content
- Capturing behind-the-scenes content from projects, events and team activity
- Writing captions that are clear, polished and brand-aligned
- Assisting with reels, short-form video and basic editing
- Supporting content calendars and campaign planning
- Tracking performance and identifying what content is working
- Working closely with marketing, sales, design and project teams To be successful, you will bring:
- Previous experience in social media, content creation or marketing support
- Strong writing skills and a positive eye for visual presentation
- Confidence using tools such as Canva, CapCut, Instagram, LinkedIn or similar
- An understanding of brand tone, engagement and content consistency
- A proactive attitude and willingness to get involved
- Interest in events, exhibitions, design, activations or creative industries. This role would suit someone who is early in their marketing career but already confident creating content that looks sharp, feels intentional and supports a growing brand.
