Medical Receptionist Parramatta

We are a contemporary Family Medical Centre located in a popular metropolitan suburb. The practice is centrally located, closed to all public transport and is surrounded by shops and cafes with free secured underground carpark.

Position:

This is a casual/part time position. We are looking for someone who can work within the span of the following hours
- Mon-Fri 8 am

7pm and Sat 8.30am
- 12noon.

The Role:

The role of the front desk receptionist includes greet and register patients, take bookings for appointments, and other administrative duties. The applicant must know how to use an Eftpos machine and use the computer for invoicing.

The applicant requires valuable customer service and communication skills. The applicant must be productive in computer skills as the use of a Medical Software is required.

The applicant must be skilled in multitasking and have the ability to work independently or in a team environment as he/she will be liasing with other staff, doctors and health professionals.

Essential Criteria:

Excellent Communication and interpersonal Skills.

Ability to work comfortably in a team environment.

Reliable and dependable. Punctual.

Computer literate.

Good multitasking skills and ability to prioritise and organise under pressure.

Preferable but not essential Criteria:

Prior experience in General Practice.

Experience in using a medical software such as Best Practice, Medical Director or Practsoft.
