We are looking for a skilled senior lawyer with 7+ years of post-admission experience (PAE) and a strong background in technology law, particularly in privacy, data, technology and intellectual property (IP). Key Responsibilities:

Provide legal support to NHVR’s Procurement and Data & Technology teams

Draft, advise on, and negotiate technology contracts, data sharing agreements and confidentiality agreements

Provide advice on IT procurement, outsourcing and compliance with data and privacy legislation

Advise on intellectual property protection and management in Australia

Assist the Manager of Legal Services in developing and continuously improving the NHVR’s IP Framework

Mentor junior Legal Services team members

Offer strategic advice to ensure effective management of legal risks

About You: To be successful in this role, you will have:

7+ years of post-admission experience (PAE) as a legal practitioner specialising in technology, privacy and intellectual property law

Admission as a legal practitioner to the High Court or Supreme Court of a State or Territory
