Technical & Injury Management Specialist (Parramatta)

The purpose of the TIMS role is to support the Claims team by providing up-to-date technical guidance and injury management support on the Insurance for NSW scheme for NSW Ambulance. This will be a full‑time, permanent position based in the Parramatta Office, with flexibility to work from home up to 3 days. Responsibilities
- Providing technical support to claims teams about the claims management process in line with the applicable legislation
- Reviewing and providing feedback about current claims management practices and procedures, ensuring emerging trends are identified and managed
- Providing specialist Injury Management coaching and one‑on‑one support to team members regarding claims management strategy and treatment approvals
- In conjunction with the Team Leader identify, develop and implement effective strategies to support the achievement of key performance and remuneration measures
- Building and maintaining strong collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders Qualifications
- Solid experience within workers compensation
- Experience in managing relationships and competing stakeholder priorities
- Passionate about coaching and supporting others
- Strong understanding of the Workers Compensation legislation, and the associated regulations and guidelines Benefits
