Role Description This is a mobile, casual role for a Special Needs Educator. The educator will design and deliver individualised lessons for learners in Pre-K through Grade 6 with attention and learning differences, using engaging, research-informed strategies. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and adapting instructional materials, providing targeted interventions, monitoring progress, and documenting goals and outcomes. The role involves collaborating with caregivers and, when appropriate, other professionals to align on strategies that support each learner’s growth. The educator will also maintain explicit communication with families, provide feedback on learner performance, and adjust approaches based on ongoing assessment and observations.

Qualifications Special Education and Disabilities: Demonstrated experience supporting learners with attention, learning, and other disabilities; understanding of inclusive and differentiated instructional practices. Communication: Robust verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with caregivers, colleagues, and learners in a remote setting. Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Special Education, Education, Psychology, or a related field; relevant certifications or licenses in special education are preferred.
