ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to support the delivery of a large-scale civil infrastructure project involving bulk earthworks, utilities, roads, drainage and associated subdivision works.

Working closely with the Project Manager and site delivery team, you will play a key role in coordinating subcontractors, managing project documentation, tracking programme and ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and in accordance with project requirements.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing contractor with a strong pipeline of work across Western Sydney.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Coordinate day-to-day project delivery activities across multiple work fronts
- Manage subcontractors, suppliers and consultant interfaces
- Prepare and manage RFIs, NCRs, ITPs, SWMS reviews and project documentation
- Monitor programme, productivity and project milestones
- Assist with procurement, scope packages and subcontractor management
- Track project costs, variations and progress claims
- Support quality assurance and compliance activities across site
- Liaise with client representatives and key project stakeholders
- Prepare regular project reporting and progress updates
- Drive effective project outcomes through proactive problem solving and coordination SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

- Experience as a Project Engineer within civil infrastructure, subdivisions or earthworks projects
- Strong understanding of bulk earthworks, roads, drainage and utility installation
- Ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders in a live construction environment
- Experience managing subcontractors and project documentation
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Proficient with project management and reporting systems such as Procore, Laminar or similar
- Relevant Civil Engineering qualification THE OPPORTUNITY
