WHS and Injury Management Advisor – NSW Trustee and Guardian
- Ongoing Full time. 35 hours per week.
- Location: Parramatta. Flexible and hybrid working options available.
- Clerk Grade: Level 7/8. Base salary $113,574 p.a. to $125,720 p.a. plus 12% superannuation and annual leave loading. About the team The People and Culture Division plays a critical role in enabling organisational performance by supporting the full employee lifecycle and fostering a positive, inclusive and high performing workplace. The division partners closely with leaders and teams to build capability, strengthen culture and ensure people practices are contemporary, compliant, and aligned to organisational priorities. About the role The Work Health and Safety / Injury Management Advisor provides specialised operational advice and support to managers and staff to strengthen workplace safety, injury management and wellbeing outcomes. Working within the People and Culture team, the role coordinates workers compensations matters, incident and injury management activities, supports risk identification and mitigation, and contributes to the effective implementation of WHS initiatives. You will support endtoend injury management processes, including return to work and rehabilitation, assist with incident investigation and corrective actions, and monitor compliance with WHS legislation and organisational requirements. The role also contributes to reporting, data analysis and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety performance across the organisation. About you You are a proactive WHS skilled with experience providing practical, risk‑based advice in a safety or injury management environment. You are confident working with managers and stakeholders to manage incidents, address risks, and support safe and compliant workplace practices. You bring sound judgement when dealing with sensitive matters, are able to interpret legislation and apply it in a practical way, and can balance competing priorities while delivering accurate and timely outcomes. You have:
- Experience supporting WHS and/or injury management activities, including workers compensation claims, incident coordination, and return to work processes
- The ability to identify hazards, assess risks and recommend practical control measures
- Strong judgement and the ability to determine when to escalate complex or high‑risk matters
- Experience analysing data and identifying trends to inform risk mitigation or improvement initiatives
