- Great employee discounts and benefits About the Role To deliver effective support to the hospitality function within the care home, including catering, cleaning and laundry. Use your food services and cleaning skills to make a difference by providing residents with an empathetic and personal approach. Duties
- Maintain legislated workplace health and safety, quality and hygiene standards.
- Complete required documentation and reporting.
- Respond to residents’ queries and requests.
- Perform laundry duties: load washers and dryers, sort linen, hang, fold, wrap or iron linen.
- Assist with basic food preparation, provide meals and snacks, organise dining areas and perform dishwashing.
- Carry out general cleaning duties: mopping, vacuuming, waste collection in residents’ rooms, bathrooms, communal and living areas. Skills and Experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Cleaning or catering experience preferred but not essential.
- Adaptable availability for a variety of shifts throughout the week.
- Understanding of work health, safety and hygiene practices and ability to work unsupervised.
