About the role Located in the heart of the Clare Valley, we’re on the lookout for a Casual Chef / Cook who thrives in a fast‑paced kitchen and takes pride in delivering quality pub‑style food. About you You’re reliable, positive, and confident in the kitchen. You enjoy working with a team, take pride in your food, and stay calm when service ramps up. You’ll thrive if you are:
- Experienced working as a Cook, Commis Chef, or Chef de Partie
- Passionate about producing quality pub‑style meals
- Calm, organised, and able to handle busy service periods
- Confident working both independently and within a team
- Knowledgeable in food safety and allergen awareness
- Reliable, with a strong work ethic and positive attitude Non‑negotiables
- Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in a commercial kitchen
- Availability across evenings, weekends, and public holidays
- Strong understanding of food safety, hygiene, and WHS
- Ability to work across a rotating 7‑day roster
- Full working rights in Australia

You’ll work alongside the Head Chef and team to deliver consistent, high‑quality pub meals and modern Australian dishes. Your role will include:
- Preparing and cooking meals to a high standard
- Working across lunch and dinner service periods
- Maintaining food safety, hygiene, and WHS standards
- Managing prep, portion control, and minimising food waste
- Supporting a positive and efficient kitchen environment
