Commercial Foreman Thornleigh

Our past and continued success over the last 65 years, means we are looking to grow the team with an experienced Commercial Foreman. We have various commercial construction projects currently on the go across NSW, valued from $0.5m to $20m and ranging from boutique luxury high-rise projects to large community aquatic centres.

The role will be supported by an experienced management team, and comes with a phone and fully maintained company vehicle.

The Job: Supervision and managing of Crystal Pools on-site work teams. Subcontractor supervision. This includes being able to plan and coordinate various in office trades effectively. Managing and leading day to day construction activities to meet construction programs. Ability to interpret and implement drawings and building plans. Induction of trades/sub-contractors to sites. Conduct Toolbox talks. Coordinate and plan day to day activities with the head contractor. Liase with Crystal Pools contractors and head contractors’ trades. Materials handling. Hands-on work as required. WHS & quality assurance management.

Your Background: The successful candidate must have a minimum 4 years commercial construction experience. Must have robust background in concrete construction and/or finishing. Trade qualifications and a proven work history for a respected company will be well regarded. Valid White Card.

Additional Requirements: Must have strong communication skills and the ability to communicate with subcontractors, colleagues and customers. Be organised and structured to ensure the project program and delivery is always top of mind. Must have a keen eye for detail and be quality driven. Solid problem-solving ability and the ability to take decisive action. Must be safety conscious with the intention of zero harm.
