- Home Care, you will lead the strategic design, governance, and implementation of BaptistCare’s national education framework for Home Care. You’ll ensure reform compliance through targeted education programmes, addressing qualification requirements, regulatory expectations, and future workforce capability. This role is about embedding education into everyday practice and creating a culture where learning is lived, not just delivered. You’ll work collaboratively with Innovation and Quality leaders, Learning and Development, Care Team Supervisors and Delivery Support Leads to build a sustainable education framework that equips staff to deliver safe, compliant, and person‑centred care well into the future. This is a 12‑month fixed‑term full‑time position reporting to the General Manager Quality – Home Care. Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement national education strategies aligned with sector reforms.
- Oversee compliance‑focused training programmes and workforce capability development.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to embed learning into organisational practice.
- Monitor and evaluate education outcomes to ensure continuous improvement. Qualifications
- Tertiary qualification in Education, Nursing, Allied Health, Social Work, Aged Care, or related discipline.
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent).
- Solid knowledge of regulatory standards and sector reforms in home care and aged care.
- A valid Australian driver’s licence and capacity to travel.
- Experience designing and evaluating education programmes in aged care, health, or community sectors.
- Experience overseeing national or large‑scale education strategies.
- Proven track record in embedding learning into organisational practice.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Previous experience in faith‑based and/or not‑for‑profit community service environments preferred. Location & Work Type
- Location: Hybrid work options available with travel across our Home Care services nationally.
- Employment type: Full‑time, 12‑month fixed‑term position.
- Work hours: Monday to Friday, with flexibility for travel.
