Housekeeping Assistant (Laundry Assistant) About the opportunity We are currently seeking a reliable Laundry Assistant to join our Accommodation Service team at our Moran Kellyville home. Avaliable shifts include: Wednesday to Friday
- 07:00am to 15:00pm. This role will assist the facility in maintaining the highest possible standards of cleanliness and hygiene across the residence with a strong focus on minimising health risks and maximising safety. We provide a welcoming and enjoyable work environment, with modern facilities and the equipment and resources needed to excel in your role. Education specific to aged care is provided. Key Duties:
- Ensure all laundry requirements are met each shift
- Clean allocated area that includes bedrooms, bathrooms, and common areas
- Follow cleaning schedule and complete records
- Replenish supplies and set up cleaning trolleys
- Be aware of, and provide Infection Prevention & Control
- Always interact with the residents in friendly, helpful and positive manner
- Ensure the home is clean to high standards
- Meet safety, quality, and hygiene standards Skills/Requirements:
- Dedication to providing a high standard of care and service
- Ability to work positively in a team with your colleagues
- Current Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
