EC&I Design Engineer (The Hills Shire)

- Up to 25% site-based commissioning work for those who enjoy practical project involvement The role You’ll be involved in the design and delivery of EC&I; systems for mining and industrial projects, including:
- Electrical and instrumentation system design
- Development of P&IDs;, schematics, layouts, cable schedules and I/O lists
- PLC control panel wiring design and interface development
- Coordination with mechanical, process and civil disciplines
- Reviewing technical specifications and ensuring compliance with Australian standards
- FAT/SAT participation and commissioning support
- Managing design documentation and technical project deliverables What you’ll need We’re looking for someone with strong EC&I; design capability within industrial or mining environments, ideally including:
- Electrical Engineering qualification
- Experience with EC&I; systems design within mining, industrial or heavy engineering projects
- Strong AutoCAD capability
- Experience with HV/LV systems and controls integration
- Knowledge of Australian standards and mining-related regulations
- Experience producing technical design documentation and schematics
