Housekeeping Assistant (Laundry Assistant)

About the opportunity

We are currently seeking a reliable Laundry Assistant to join our Accommodation Service team at our Moran Kellyville home. Avaliable shifts include: Wednesday to Friday
- 07:00am to 15:00pm.

This role will assist the facility in maintaining the highest possible standards of cleanliness and hygiene across the residence with a solid focus on minimising health risks and maximising safety.

We provide a welcoming and enjoyable work environment, with modern facilities and the equipment and resources needed to excel in your role. Education specific to aged care is provided.

Key Duties:

Ensure all laundry requirements are met each shift

Clean allocated area that includes bedrooms, bathrooms, and common areas

Follow cleaning schedule and complete records

Replenish supplies and set up cleaning trolleys

Be aware of, and provide Infection Prevention & Control

Always interact with the residents in friendly, helpful and positive manner

Ensure the home is clean to high standards

Meet safety, quality, and hygiene standards

Skills/Requirements:

Dedication to providing a high standard of care and service

Ability to work positively in a team with your colleagues

Current Police Check (or willingness to obtain)

Highly organised with strong planning skills
