Warranty Service Officer (The Hills Shire)

Position Purpose Clarendon Homes, part of Campbell Property Group (CPG) — one of Australia’s leading residential construction and property development companies — is seeking a Warranty Officer to join our Domaine Team covering South West Sydney. What You’ll Do As the Warranty Officer you will proactively carry out rectification works, establish and maintain strong customer relationships by guiding and updating customers, problem‑solving, and collaborating with internal teams (Customercare CSCs, Site Managers, Construction CSCs, Drafting, Estimating, Permits, Lifestyle Studio) as well as external parties (trades, suppliers) to deliver an exceptional customer experience during the defective rectification phase post‑handover. You will effectively complete rectification of warranty defects, advise owners when items are not covered under warranty, and educate owners on homeowner maintenance requirements. Your Duties Will Include
- Build trust and rapport with customers throughout their after‑sales service interactions.
- Educate customers on the Customercare process, ensuring a clear understanding of expectations, milestones, and what is covered under their statutory warranty.
- Proactively engage with customers to facilitate timely progress and completion of their warranty enquiries and rectifications.
- Actively communicate with the Customercare CSC, trades and suppliers to follow up on pending matters and provide timely updates for customers.
- Process and seek approval of PO requests and EFT requisitions.
- Routinely learn about the products customers select in their inclusions and the different display homes to assist with customer communications.
- Maintain knowledge of various warranty timeframes and processes to facilitate prompt assistance to customers. About You
- Previous experience on tools, either construction trade background or general maintenance/handy person experience.
- Previous home builder experience (preferred).
- Experience using technology/software.
- Knowledge of NSW Home Building Act and statutory warranty periods applicable to new home construction.
- Awareness of warranty remedial processes.
- Some building knowledge.
- A strong communicator with experience in customer service and conflict resolution.
- Understanding of home plans.
- Strong problem‑solving skills with attention to detail.
