Our Resource Recovery team is currently on the lookout for a Manager to lead the team and who will play a crucial role in providing specialist service and advice across multiple council operations to the community in relation to resource recovery and waste management. What This Role Looks Like
- Manage the tendering, contract administration and supervision.
- Coordinate and manage contracts, contractors, consultants and consultancy.
- Capture, review and regularly report performance data to senior staff.
- Develop internal and external partnerships to promote council services.
- Provide strategic advice to internal customers on matters relating to resource recovery and waste management. Qualifications
- Demonstrated knowledge and principles to lead, supervise and manage (2+ years’ experience) in relation to Resource Recovery, Waste Management & Council related activities.
- Postgraduate qualification in Management, Sustainability/ Natural Resource Management or Public Health.
- Bachelor’s degree in environmental health, Environmental Science or related.
- Holder of a NSW Drivers Licence (Class C). Benefits A salary of up to $243K per annum (including Superannuation, Car and Package Allowance), paid weekly.
