Machine Operators (multiple roles available) (Orchard Hills)

We have an exciting opportunity to join the Opal team as our site in Orchard Hills is currently looking for multiple Machine Operators to come onboard! The key focuses/ duties of this role include:
- Setting, running and maintaining converting machines
- Assisting on converting machines
- Achieve safety, quality and efficiency targets
- Recording production data
- Meet food safety standards and ensure the work area is clean
- Reporting hazards, conducting inductions and training employees/casuals on relevant safety hazards
- Actively participate in continuous improvement activities
- Other various site duties as directed

- Experience within a similar industry would be highly regarded (but is not a requirement for the role)
- Proven experience as a Machine Operator in a manufacturing environment
- The ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Be a reliable & adaptable individual with a desire to learn
- Experience in using RF scanners and/ or SAP would be viewed favourably (but is not required)
