About the Role Due to continued growth, we are seeking a reliable and motivated Maintenance Person to join our team in Emu Plains. You will play a key role in ensuring Grove’s hire assets are safe, functional, and presented to a high standard for delivery to site. Working as part of a busy yard team, you will be involved in asset preparation in a timely manner. Key Responsibilities
- Carry out ongoing maintenance and repairs to hire fleet assets
- Prepare buildings and equipment for transport and installation
- Identify faults and complete repairs, including retrofit works
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Complete condition reports for incoming and outgoing assets
- Maintain a clean, organised, and productive yard
- Support safe work practices and contribute to a strong safety culture
- Assist with general yard duties and asset handling as required About You
- Strong handyman or trade assistant background
- Experience using hand and power tools
- Ability to identify issues and take ownership of repairs
- Forklift licence (essential)
- White Card (essential)
- Strong work ethic with a proactive, can-do attitude
