Exciting opportunities have become available to join the Nepean Protected Assessment Unit as a Security Officer. In this position, you will maintain a safe environment for staff, volunteers, contractors, patients and visitors. This includes the provision of high standard of customer service in testing situations.

**What you will bring to the role**:

- Must have Certificate 2 in Security Operations with a current NSW Security Licence class 1A, and current First Aid Certificate.
- Effective experience working in a similar role.
- Demonstrated experience in responding to a variety of changing and challenging situations.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with all levels of managers, staff and a diverse range of patients and members of the public.
- Must be able to effectively work independently and as part of a multi discplinary team.
- Practical knowledge of security equipment including CCTV operations and access control systems.
- Capability and availability to participate in a 24 hour/seven-day rotating roster.
