- Involvement in community initiatives through the CoscaOne Foundation About the Role As a Client Manager, you will take ownership of a portfolio of clients, acting as their trusted advisor and primary point of contact. This is a client-facing leadership role, focused on delivering high-quality advisory services, building long-term relationships, and driving outcomes for both clients and the broader team. You will work closely with the Director and Senior Accountant Manager and support the development of junior team members helping to shape the future capability of the firm. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of clients across a range of industries
- Act as the primary client relationship lead, delivering proactive, value-added advice
- Provide strategic guidance on tax, structuring, and business performance
- Review financial statements, tax returns, and compliance work prepared by the team
- Research and resolve complex technical matters
- Lead client meetings and present insights clearly and confidently
- Support workflow management and ensure jobs are delivered on time and within budget
- Mentor and develop junior and intermediate team members
- Work collaboratively with Directors to influence client and business outcomes
- Liaise with the ATO and external stakeholders as required About you
- Qualifications and Skills (Selection Criteria) Mandatory:
- CA / CPA Qualified
- Strong experience in Australian public practice (typically 5 + years)
- Proven experience managing client relationships and delivering advisory services
- Strong technical tax and structuring knowledge
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
- Proactive, solutions-focused mindset Desirable
- Experience leading or mentoring team members
