This commitment to quality and safety underpins every aspect of the services provided. Role Description This is a full time, on-site Area Manager role based in NSW. The Area Manager oversees multiple disability support services and teams to ensure high-quality, person-centered support for clients. Day-to-day responsibilities include leading and coaching service managers and frontline staff, monitoring service delivery standards, and ensuring compliance with NDIS and other regulatory requirements. The role involves managing budgets and resources, overseeing rosters, and optimizing operational performance across the area. The Area Manager will build strong relationships with clients, families, and key stakeholders, respond to incidents and feedback, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance client outcomes. The role also includes preparing reports, contributing to strategic planning, and promoting a positive, inclusive workplace culture. Qualifications Relevant tertiary qualification in Health, Disability, Social Services, Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience in disability or community services leadership. Demonstrated experience in managing multi-site or multi-service operations, including staff supervision, performance management, and coaching. Strong skills in budgeting, resource management, and operational planning, with the ability to meet service, quality, and financial targets. Sound understanding of NDIS and other relevant funding and regulatory frameworks, including compliance, risk management, and incident management. Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with clients, families, staff, and external partners. Proven capability in change management and continuous improvement, including implementing new processes and service enhancements. High level of organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize and make informed decisions in a fast-paced environment. Commitment to person-centered practice, human rights, and inclusive, culturally safe service delivery. Proficiency in using digital tools and systems for reporting, rostering, and documentation.
