My client is a privately owned, high-end building products supplier that has renowned product and has already established itself as a top player in the decorative surfaces industry in Australia. This role is critical for the continual growth and development of the company’s expansion plans. They continue to introduce recent and cutting-edge products to gain further market share within Australia.

Role:

As the new South Brisbane Area Manager, your primary responsibility is to maintain and develop key clients in the residential construction space, as well as maintain a territory of cabinet makers, kitchen retailers & stone masons. This opportunity would suit a dynamic and career driven salesperson that has good exposure to the resi construction space and is looking to grow within a business long term. The ideal location for the right person to reside due to this territory is South of the Brisbane river and north of Dreamworld.

Skills & Experience

We are seeking applicants who can demonstrate the following skills and experience;

Strong presentation skills with an ambitious & outgoing personality

Experience in Stone and/or decorative surfaces is highly desired

Existing relationships within the desired customer segments in the description above

Experience within building products sales is a must have

Proven track record in sales and overachieving targets

Good technical understanding of the construction industry in general

High degree of energy, be self-motivated and desire to be rewarded for your hard efforts

Secure track record of employment and desire to move into a long-term career role

In return they can offer you a stable, friendly team environment to work in. The salary package is negotiable based on experience and will include a fully-maintained vehicle, super, tools of trade and bonus. This role is available immediately and interviews will commence immediately.

Salary: $70,000.00
- $90,000.00 per year
