Residential Supervisor – Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) Healthscope Independence Services (HIS) is seeking an experienced Residential Supervisor to lead our Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) apartment services operating within the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).
- Permanent, Full Time
- Classification: Level 4 (pay will be determined based on experience)

About the Role The Residential Supervisor will lead a dedicated team of support workers, ensuring the day‑to‑day care and support provided to clients is consistent, safe, and empowering. This role will collaborate closely with the internal leadership team to maintain service continuity and positive client outcomes. A Typical Day
- Lead and supervise a team delivering 24/7 disability supports.
- Support clients with complex needs and ensure services align with their individual goals.
- Responsible for rostering all direct support staff within the house, including monitoring absenteeism and recommending escalation.
- Monitor compliance and quality, such as staff training, documentation, audits, and continuous improvement activities across the service.
- Oversee support workers, provide guidance, and ensure high standards of cleanliness and comfort.
- Complete incident reviews, risk assessments, or quality improvement tasks.
- Coordinate client admissions, transfers, or service changes.
- Participate in leadership meetings, report KPIs, and plan service improvements. Qualifications and Experience
- Experience in disability, attendant care, or community care coordination.
- Strong understanding of NDIS, TAC or iCare programs.
- Experience coordinating teams across multiple sites, including rostering, workforce planning, and service delivery oversight.
- Excellent communication, written, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
- Excellent organisational and rostering abilities.
- Confident communicator with a proactive, solutions‑focused approach.
- Ability to manage multiple clients and priorities.
