Toolmaker (City of Penrith)

Reporting to the Mould Shop Manager, this role is a part of the maintenance team for analysing specifications to assemble parts to make and repair dies with the use of machining and power tools. This is a full time permanent position working day shift hours at our busy Glass plant in Penrith. What You Will Do
- Reading of blueprints and drawing specifications
- Making parts to modify or repair mould gear
- Machine operation of machining, power tools, and welding equipment
- Quality assurance on completed works
- Check and maintain stock levels of materials required
- Adhere to all Work, Health & Safety policies, and procedures What You Will Bring
- Trade Qualified Fitter & Turner
- Min. 3-4 years’ experience or qualified 1st Class Machinist/Fitter
- Computer literate with Microsoft Office and SAP
- Excellent communication skills
