Headspace Penrith is seeking highly motivated Private Practitioners to provide Medicare‑funded clinical services to young people aged 12–25 years. The role offers a highly flexible schedule of 1–5 days per week, fully autonomous practice within a supportive multidisciplinary team, and the opportunity to deliver evidence‑based, high‑quality care to young people experiencing mental health challenges. The position includes full billings (100%), complete administrative support (reception, billing, appointment confirmations and reminders), a free consultation room, ongoing Medicare‑funded referrals, and access to professional development and peer consultation resources. Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments, treatment planning, and deliver evidence‑based psychological interventions to young people (12–25 years) with mental health challenges. Essential Criteria
- Full Registration as a Clinical Psychologist or General Psychologist through Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Mental Health Accredited Social Worker through Australian Association of Social Work (AASW)
- Better Access Endorsed Occupational Therapist through Occupational Therapy Australian (OTA) Therapists
- Eligibility to provide services under Medicare
- Commitment to achieving therapeutic goals using evidence‑based treatment strategies
- Previous experience in delivering psychological interventions
- A flexible and solutions‑focused approach to practice
- Have an ABN or ability to obtain one and appropriate insurances
- Relevant Criminal History checks Benefits
