Residential Supervisor – Penrith

At the Healthscope Independence Services (HIS), we are seeking a passionate and experienced Residential Supervisor to lead our Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) apartment services operating within the NDIS.

About the Role The residential supervisor will lead a dedicated team of support workers, ensuring the day‑day care and support provided to clients is consistent, safe, and empowering. This role will collaborate closely with the internal leadership team to maintain service continuity and positive client outcomes. A Typical Day May Include:
- Lead and supervise a team delivering 24/7 disability supports.
- Supporting clients with complex needs and ensuring services align with their individual goals.
- Responsible for the rostering of all direct support staff within the house, monitoring absenteeism and recommendations for escalation.
- Monitoring compliance and quality, such as staff training, documentation, audits, and continuous improvement activities across the service.
- Oversee support workers, provide guidance, and ensure high standards of cleanliness and comfort.
- Completing incident reviews, risk assessments, or quality improvement tasks.
- Coordinating client admissions, transfers, or service changes.
- Participating in leadership meetings, reporting KPIs, and planning service improvements. To Be Considered for This Role You Will Have:
- Experience in disability, attendant care, or community care coordination.
- Strong understanding of NDIS, TAC or iCare programs.
- Experience coordinating teams across multiple sites, including rostering, workforce planning, and service delivery oversight.
- Excellent communication, written, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
- Excellent organisational and rostering skills.
- Confident communicator with a proactive, solutions‑focused approach.
- Ability to manage multiple clients and priorities.
- Experience supporting complex or high‑needs clients is highly regarded. Why Healthscope?
