Are you a culinary expert with a passion for Thai cuisine? We're looking for a Full Time Cook to assist in leading our kitchen and bring authentic flavors to our guests! Responsibilities include but are not limited to

· Examining food items to ensure quality

· Regulating temperatures of ovens, grills and other cooking equipment

· Preparing and cooking food

· Seasoning food during cooking

· Storing food in temperature controlled facilities

· Preparing food to meet special dietary requirements

· Assisting the Head Chef if required to plan menus and estimate food requirements

· Assist where required to train other kitchen staff and apprentices

What we are looking for in our candidates:

· Relevant Qualifications - Commercial Cookery

· Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role

· Experience with coaching and mentoring junior staff

· Have the ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment

· A passion for excellent quality food, produce and service

· Be reliable, punctual and hard working

· Have strong communication skills

· Be able to maintain kitchen procedures and WHS standards

· Have sound knowledge of food, health & safety

· Available to work a mix of weekdays, weekends & nights

· Have Australian working rights

· Able to work Full time - 38hrs/week

· MUST HAVE PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE/TRAINING WITH THAI CUISINE.

Salary $76,500 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
