About the Role
As a Tyre Fitter, you will be responsible for fitting, repairing, rotating, and balancing tyres across a variety of vehicles. You will ensure all work is carried out safely and to a high standard while supporting customers with advice on tyre maintenance and care.

Tasks and Responsibilities
• Fit, remove, and replace tyres and rims on a range of heavy mining and earthmoving equipment.
• Conduct tyre inflation and deflation in accordance with safety standards.
• Inspect tyres for wear, damage, or defects and report findings.
• Perform routine maintenance including rotation, balancing, and repairs.
• Monitor tyre pressures and tread depth to ensure compliance with site safety requirements.
• Carry out minor and major tyre repairs using approved methods.
• Maintain accurate service records of tyre usage, performance, and maintenance history.
• Adhere to site safety protocols and company policies at all times.
• Operate tools and equipment in a safe and responsible manner.
• Participate in safety meetings, toolbox talks, and training sessions.

Skills & Experience
• Previous tyre fitting experience desirable (training available for the right person)
• Good mechanical knowledge and problem-solving skills
• Physically fit and able to handle tyres and workshop tools
• Team player with strong work ethic
• Current driver’s license
