**Architectural Design Draftsperson**

GEM Resourcing is recruiting for an experienced Architectural Draftsperson to assist with the delivery of luxury residential projects across the Perth metro area. This is a long-term, ongoing opportunity to work with a reputable company specialising in high-end residential builds valued up to $2 million.

**About the Role**: We are seeking a skilled Architectural Draftsperson with experience in luxury residential builds to join our team. You will be responsible for producing accurate design drawings, documentation, and 3D visualisations using ArchiCAD and Lumion, ensuring compliance with WA’s residential two-storey building requirements.

We are looking for a motivated professional with strong technical drafting skills, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality documentation for construction.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Prepare detailed and accurate design drawings using ArchiCAD (essential) and Lumion, including site plans, sales plans, working drawings, council submission plans, variations, and final construction documentation.
- Interpret sales sketches, design concepts, and mark-ups and convert them into practical, buildable documentation.
- Produce high-quality 3D renders and visualisations for client presentations.
- Ensure all documentation meets the Building Code of Australia, local council requirements, and WA planning frameworks.
- Interpret design briefs and sales estimates into practical, buildable documentation.
- Manage documentation requirements across all stages of design and construction, including amendments for permits or approvals.
- Liaise confidently with internal teams, surveyors, and consultants to ensure smooth project coordination.
- Stay updated on changes in industry standards, products, and planning regulations.

**To be considered for this position, you must have**:

- Minimum 3-5 years experience in a drafting role within the residential construction sector, preferably in luxury home builds.
- Proficiency in ArchiCAD (essential) and ideally Lumion for 3D visualisations.
- Strong understanding of WA’s residential two-storey building requirements.
- Knowledge of the Building Code of Australia and relevant local council regulations.
- Ability to produce clear, detailed, and buildable documentation across all stages of design and construction.
- Solid communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Diploma of Building Design, Architectural Drafting, or a related qualification (Desirable).
- Full working rights in Australia and must be Perth based.
