As the Event Manager at KINN & Co, you will be at the forefront of planning and executing our lively food and night markets, as well as coordinating our entertainment and amusement events. You will manage all aspects of event organisation, from vendor coordination to on-site execution, ensuring that each event is a success and delivers an exceptional experience for both participants and attendees.
**Responsibilities**:
- Oversee the comprehensive planning, coordination, and execution of weekly events at Scarborough Beach, in Subiaco and Perth CBD
- Develop and manage detailed event plans and timelines to ensure successful execution.
- Handle requests for information about our event services, including the booking of vendor spaces, equipment rental, setup, and other related costs.
- Actively Promote KINN & Co's range of events, amusements, and entertainment opportunities to potential vendors and participants, emphasising the unique benefits and advantages of participating.
- Engage with vendors and clients to understand their needs and provide information on the available service choices that best meet those requirements.
- Provide expert recommendations and guidance to help clients select the best options for their requirements.
- Organise and manage all essential services for our events, such as vendor booths, catering, signage, displays, audio-equipment, and other required amenities.
- Communicating with Vendors and suppliers to discuss and agree on service types and costs to ensure they align with the budget and meet the events requirements.
- Oversee the registration of vendors and participants, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
- Supervise the work performed by contractors and vendors, ensuring tasks are completed as planned and promptly report any deviations or adjustments needed to the project agreements.
- Handle any issues that arise during the event and resolving issues if they arise, to ensure all aspects run smoothly and efficiently.
**Qualifications**:
- Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in event management, demonstrating a strong track record of success in delivering high-quality events. **Experience in night markets is highly desirable.**:
- Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail, ensuring meticulous planning and execution.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with clients, vendors, and team members.
- A proactive and solutions-oriented approach to problem-solving, ensuring smooth event operations.
- Passion for creating memorable experiences and exceeding client expectations.
- **Must be available to work on public holidays.**:
- **Must have own reliable transport.**:
- **Experience in audio production is a significant advantage.**:
- **Prior warehouse experience is beneficial.**:
- **Experience with food truck traffic management is a plus.**:
- **It would be favourable if applicants hold relevant tickets such as a White Card, Working at Heights, Confined Spaces, and Traffic Management.**
