We are seeking expressions of interest from experienced Fixed Plant and Train Load Out Controllers that are interested in pursuing a career with Fortescue.

Work Location: Perth
- Integrated Operations Centre (HIVE). Fortescue’s Perth office is located on the traditional lands of the Whadjuk people.

Roster: 4 days | 4 nights | 8 off

Role Overview:The purpose of these roles is to provide safe, effective and optimal operation of the process plant to meet operational targets across both fixed plant and train load out, working from the Fortescue Centre HIVE.

Key Responsibilities:

Identify problems in operations process and resolve them in an efficient and timely manner

Accurate operational reporting to the business through platforms including but not limited to A-plus, Babelfish, Excel, Outlook

Use correct recording, reporting and escalation processes

Monitor system alarms and take corrective actions to rectify

Periodically review & investigate relevant trends

Actively investigate breakdowns and delays within the plant

Review and maintain Fixed Plant control procedures including SWI’s and single point lessons

Qualifications and Experience:

Proven experience in front line Fixed Plant operations essential

Previous control room experience preferred

Exposure to SCADA system

Intermediate computer literacy skills and a passion for Innovation and Technology

Demonstrated ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced workplace

Demonstrated ability to work with several demanding priorities

Strong understanding of production strategies for large scale Mining Operations
