Applicants must be based in Perth or Dunsborough and able to travel regularly between key tourism locations across Western Australia, with significant time spent away. About Us We operate two premium tourism brands in the Kimberley region, with the potential to expand into other parts of Western Australia. Together, they offer a blend of remote wilderness accommodation and immersive adventure experiences, including helicopter, boat, charter flight, and 4WD tours. Our focus is on delivering high-quality, authentic, and unforgettable wilderness tourism experiences in some of Australia’s most remote and dynamic environments. The Role This is a senior leadership position overseeing operations across current and emerging tourism brands. The role combines hands-on operational leadership with broader commercial and strategic responsibility. For existing businesses, this position will lead and support:
- Optimise day-to-day operations, team performance, systems and profitability.
- Long-term business planning
- Product development
- Commercial performance improvement
- Sustainable tourism growth For emerging businesses, this position will play a key and strategic role, contributing to:
- Identify new tourism concepts aligned with the group’s strategic direction
- Conduct market research including assessing logistical, regulatory and environment viability

- Manage approvals, permits and compliance processes The successful candidate must be comfortable operating at both operational and executive levels, leading from the front when required while also being able to provide hands-on operational support during peak load periods. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations across all tourism products and services
- Recruit, train, and manage staff while fostering a positive team culture
- Manage budgets, financial reporting, and resource allocation
- Oversee major infrastructure projects from conception to completion
- Coordinate contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to streamline workflows
- Implement quality and cost control processes
- Build strong relationships with critical industry stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental policies, and industry standards
- Drive high levels of customer service and continuous improvement
- Lead marketing and sales initiatives and optimise booking systems
- Contribute to strategic planning, growth initiatives, and future product development Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Tourism Management, Business Administration, or similar.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in management, ideally in remote or complex tourism environments, or 5 years’ experience running small to mid-sized business
- Strong leadership and people management capability
- Ability to work at both operational and strategic levels
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated marketing and sales experience
- Strong financial management and budgeting capability
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- Ability to travel regularly and at short notice Benefits
