This talent register is an online portal that allows you to register your interest for fixed term, full-time and part-time opportunities up to twelve (12) months. We will be recruiting for positions with an immediate start, to help support the implementation of the new Commissioners Instructions. Current available positions to fill: L3
- Recruitment Officer The Department of Education’s priority and focus remains on appointing merit based selected staff permanently. Context The role of a Recruitment Officer may be in any of the teams across our branch which support WA public schools, Department of Education central and regional offices, and applicants. These teams include: Regional and Metropolitan Schools Recruitment Central Pools and Central Services Recruitment Executive Recruitment Casual Workforce Team Join a supportive, fast-paced team that helps Western Australian public schools recruit and appoint staff. In this role, you will support Principals and Department managers with recruitment processes, respond to applicant enquiries, provide support throughout the application process, maintain applicant recruitment registers, and provide advice on recruitment policies and procedures. You will join the team at a time of exciting change as we implement new Public Sector Commission recruitment instructions, supporting hiring managers to achieve successful hiring outcomes through efficient, compliant recruitment practices. Strong customer service, communication, organisational, and computer skills are essential, along with the ability to manage multiple tasks and build positive working relationships in a collaborative team environment.
