About the role At Uniting WA, we are looking for a Compliance Officer that will play a key role in strengthening a culture of quality, compliance, and continuous improvement across our Community Housing services. This is a rewarding opportunity to ensure policies, procedures, and systems meet regulatory requirements, including NRSCH standards, while contributing to better outcomes for tenants and communities. The role supports audit processes, reporting, and the management of non‑conformances, and works closely with Housing teams to provide practical, solutions‑focused guidance. Through strong collaboration and performance monitoring, the Compliance Officer helps deliver consistent, compliant, and high‑quality, person‑centred housing services. About you You’re a detail-oriented and values-driven professional who thrives on working collaboratively to improve systems and outcomes. You will bring
- Experience in compliance, quality, governance, or administration (community services or housing highly regarded)
- Strong analytical and reporting skills, with a high level of attention to detail
- Ability to interpret legislation, frameworks, or organisational policies (NRSCH knowledge desirable)
- Experience working with databases or housing/property management systems
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with a range of stakeholders
