Are you passionate about working with children? We are currently looking for a professional nanny to assist a family in Spearwood, WA. The Family This young, modern, and ambitious family is seeking support with their 6‑month‑old baby. Both parents are involved in running a business, with Dad working full‑time and Mum balancing part‑time work alongside primary care. Their baby is a sensitive little boy with reflux, requiring attentive, responsive care and support with routines. The family is at a stage where additional help is needed to create balance in the home and allow Mum to step back into the business. The household also includes two small pugs (indoor dogs), and a robust emphasis is placed on safety and home security, with external cameras in place. Days, Hours, Start Date & Remuneration
- Monday to Thursday
- 7:00am – 11:30am
- Start: ASAP
- Hourly rate: Negotiable (based on experience)
- Minimum 6‑month commitment (with potential to extend longer‑term) The Role
- Primary care of a 6‑month‑old baby (baby comes first at all times )
- Supporting feeding, settling, and reflux‑aware care
- Engaging in developmentally appropriate play and interaction
- Supporting daily routines and providing a calm, nurturing environment
- Light household duties during downtime (meal prep, general tidying, errands if required)
- Working alongside Mum, who may take the baby to activities at times (e.g. swimming), while supporting the household as needed The Ideal Nanny The family is seeking a kind, gentle, and experienced nanny who is confident caring for infants, particularly those with reflux or higher needs. The ideal candidate will be calm under pressure, nurturing, and able to provide consistent, responsive care to a sensitive baby. A positive, outgoing personality combined with a warm and reassuring presence will be highly valued. Qualifications / Requirements
- Experience with infants (reflux experience highly regarded)
- Reliable, patient, and nurturing
- Strong awareness of hygiene and safety
- Comfortable around dogs (two small pugs)
- No driving required
- Ability to commit to a minimum 6‑month role
- Hold a valid First Aid and CPR certificate
- Hold a valid Working with Children Check
- Hold a valid National Police Check
