**Role Summary**: DevelopmentWA is seeking a creative and organised Events and Marketing Manager for a 12-month fixed term contract. In this role, you’ll lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of corporate and major project events, manage sponsorship activities, and support broader marketing initiatives. **Responsibilities and Accountabilities**:

- Develop, review, and evaluate the sponsorship and events program in alignment with brand strategy and organisational goals.
- Research and recommend cutting-edge event venues, formats, and themes.
- Manage all aspects of corporate events including AV/staging, catering, invitations, and RSVP processes.
- Ensure compliance with relevant guidelines, regulations, and laws.
- Collaborate with the broader Marketing team and contribute to cross-functional projects.

**About you**:

- Demonstrated end-to-end event management experience.
- Demonstrated initiative and problem-solving skills including the ability to convey ideas and concepts in writing and through verbal presentations.
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain stakeholder relationships in a dynamic environment.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively, contribute to the achievement of team outcomes and share expertise.
- Well-developed organisational and time management skills with the ability to work across and manage multiple projects.
- Demonstrated budgetary and expenditure management and reporting.
- A relevant tertiary qualification in a related discipline is highly desirable.
