Communications & Engagement Officer (Perth)

Our client in Perth CBD is seeking an experienced Communications and Engagement professional.

Our state government client based in Perth’s CBD is currently seeking an experienced Communications and Engagement professional to fill their temporary vacancy. This is a temporary contract for up to 12 months. This role is a great opportunity to work on a large state government project within a well-known government department.

**Your new role**

Your responsibilities will include:
- Liaise directly with internal stakeholders and project managers on communication and engagement ideas and opportunities- Develop communication and engagement plans and activities- Identify opportunities to improve the organisations communications through research- Prepare corporate communication, briefings, and responses

**What you'll need to succeed**

Your previous experience in a similar role will be essential, as will:
- Demonstrated experience in communications and engagement- State government industry exposure- Ability to deliver a broad range of communications material including print, online, social media and face to face- Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills
