Junior Geotechnical Engineer - Tailings (Perth)

Our Perth-based tailings team is looking to bring on graduate-level or junior (2
- 3 years' experience) geotechnical engineer with an interest in the geotechnical design of tailings storage facilities. The position is available immediately. Key Responsibilities
- Working with the technical team to develop, provide and promote design solutions, options and initiatives to meet client needs
- Undertake field work including site investigations, construction phase support and site inspections.
- Work with the senior technical team to contribute to detailed designs for projects ranging from building foundations to temporary works, infrastructure and tailings storage facilities.
- Undertake technical and non-technical tasks and take responsibility for the accuracy and quality of our work Qualifications/Experience/Attributes
- Qualified Geotechnical/Civil Engineer
- Good analytical skills
- Prior knowledge of geotechnical design software will be viewed favourably but it is not essential (Plaxis, Rocscience Slide, RSPile, Settle3, LimitState Geo etc.)
- Experience working on tailings storage facilities is preferred but not necessary.
- Exceptional organisation and communication skills, both verbal and written
- A high standard of accuracy and attention to detail is a must
- Current Aus drivers license
- Combination of office-based and field-based work, ability to travel What We Offer
